And where's the Tower of Babel?

So you'd have to admit that there are important biblical objects that have not been found.

But the question you raise is very important.

Has there been a significant archaeological discovery?

that contradicts the Bible?

And the resounding answer to that is no.

And again, this is not my answer.

This is an answer that, you know, Eric Klein is a prominent secular archeologist at Georgetown University.

He recently published a book, A Short Introduction to Biblical Archeology.

He says,

He's not talking now about the earliest biblical accounts of creation, the miraculous account of how the world came into being.

But he goes, if you look, for example, at the period from King David, about 1000 BC to the time of Jesus, basically 32 AD, he goes, is there a single notable artifact that contradicts the biblical account?

And he goes, I got to admit, there's not one.

Well, I've written elsewhere about Hume's argument against miracles and why that argument is invalid.

I don't want to get into that here.

Let me just put it this way.

The Bible combines an account of theology, right?
