The starch in it can just help kind of give a sort of nice thickness to your sauce.
really easy and again if you don't have the purple spreading broccoli regular old broccoli will do and it's it's one of those recipes that sounds really kind of simple and it may be a bit dull but actually the flavors are beautiful the butter the lemon zest the lemon juice and some hazelnuts that have been chopped and toasted it's really really simple just blanch your broccoli and again you're just melting the butter adding the the lemon juice and the zest and spooning that over the broccoli you'd be really surprised how lovely it is really simple it's just a lovely flavor dish
yeah yeah once you add a bit of butter to the old broccoli you're away and then other stuff yeah when you're toasting the nuts so do you crush them up and on a tray in the oven or what yeah you can toast them whole and crush them up and sometimes you can buy packs of hazelnuts that have already been chopped up they tend to be a bit lacking in flavour so I'd always get the whole ones and kind of toast them for a bit keep an eye on them because they burn like crazy and a bit of oil you don't need to there's enough just gentle enough though heat
Yeah, I think I mean, you think of lemon with chicken and fish, but like you'd never put lemon with steak.
Just wouldn't, you know, you just they just wouldn't go.
So, again, another lovely dish, but lots of lemon and green olives.
Again, this is just a really nice, bright flavor.
You've got saffron, turmeric, which you get that wonderful kind of rich yellow color from lemon.
Some olives, lots of parsley, lots of coriander.
And again, this is sweating onions, searing off your chicken.
And again, adding like those herbs and spices and bring it together.
Lots of lemon juice, lemon zest.
Delicious.
Yeah.
With lots of lemon juice.
Yeah, that's true.
That is true.
But they are just such a brilliant, brilliant addition to things.
And I just don't tell people and they just kind of go, God, that's delicious.
And then if you tell them there's anchovies in it.
