you know, dang proud of that guy anyway.
But to have him come back and play in the black and gold is pretty cool.
No question.
He certainly made it much more accessible.
And, yeah, we couldn't, like I said, couldn't be prouder of the guy and couldn't be more excited for him to get a chance to, you know, be a Steeler.
He was super talented and could do, you know, really everything.
You know, I heard him say in some interviews, a Swiss Army knife, and quite honestly, that's what he was.
You know, I remember whatever we needed, you know, if we needed a heavy run team, like a flex bone team, like a McKeesport deal, you know, we'd walk him down and be that outside backer on the edge, and he would handle business.
like nobody else we had.
And if we needed a, a cover guy, he was the same guy, whether it was at corner or whether it was at, you know, slot corner or safety.
Um, and we've lined him up the linebacker against teams that wanted to, you know, heavy personnel you, um, that sort of deal.
And then an offense, you know, little known, he was, he was a really electric guy on offense.
He holds the record here for the, with all the great athletes we've had and players.
Um,
he had 97 yard catch and run against McKeesport, you know, which is still our longest play from scrimmage.
And I can remember a team, I won't name them to embarrass them, but they, they punted it to him and he returned it for a touchdown and it got called back.
They punted to him again.
He did it again.
Um, next time they, you know, fourth down, they punted it to him again.
I was like, I'm not very good at this, but maybe you don't punt it to that guy anymore, you know?
