Um, so yeah, he's just that kind of guy who could do all those things.
And,
and really wanted structure, really wanted to learn, you know, was a guy who, you know, there's an old saying, you can tell a guy a thousand times and get it right once or tell them once and get it right a thousand times.
And,
He's the latter.
He's that guy who you coached him and he wanted to be coached and then he went and just did it and had all the ability to do it.
Yeah, that's a great question.
Those are pretty rare.
I think most coaches would tell you that some kids –
are just so obviously physically different that, you know, like Derek Davis was a different guy when he was in eighth grade.
And I didn't know, you know, Jaquan when he was in eighth grade, but certainly physically he checked all the blocks.
And then he just kept, you know, when he went and did the temporary thing at Lackawanna to get everything straight to make the move to Penn State and got on the field right away, I knew he was going to be a pro.
But there was a time –
when he was playing here where you say, this guy's got a future, you just don't know if it's going to extend.
It's so hard to make the league, but you just don't know if it's going to extend there.
But certainly he had all the attributes that you said, this guy's for real and could have a really nice career in this game.
There's no question.
He had his draft party here in Pittsburgh, and I attended and was obviously beyond excited to see him.
It's kind of like signing day on steroids.
Signing day, you see guys go to their next level, and you're excited for them to get to continue their dream and realize the success.
