You know, so just kind of I do think it's important to have those kind of people on the ground that are spotless.

Another thing he used to always do was don't come to me with a problem unless you've thought about the solution.

So I know this might sound nuts, but like we would chat about training weeks.

And of course, when strength and conditioning and rugby are kind of colliding, everyone's looking to get their best bit.

But they mightn't realize when you're in it.

And sometimes I'd question the program and they'd be like, well, fucking give me the answer.

He's like, how do we fix the program?

And I remember once I learned that with him, it was like all he wanted was the ammo to go fight for me.

You know what I mean?

So then I'd kind of go, well, at the end of the weight session, if we'd done the walkthrough there, it frees that block.

And then he was like, OK, now I can go.

But don't come to me bitching and whinging about stuff you haven't thought about.
