We're talking ninety-seven, ninety-eight.

Um we've missed some time this year uh due to injury, uh, but he came back uh with Vancouver, promoted to New Hampshire, and now he's at uh at Triple A Buffalo.

struggling a little bit with command and uh and and just making pitches that trip uh the double a hitters maybe couldn't barrel up, but now triple A hitters can.

So maybe he's um his his his uh his his path is shortened a little bit, but there's another guy that will be probably going back to starting next year.

And this was somebody that they were looking at as maybe as a as a late September option as well.

I I want to be charitable because it's um he's certainly a work in progress, but at the moment I'm not sure he's gonna make Blue Jays fans forget about Jesus Sanchez in in left field, to be honest.

It's that's quite an ask uh at this time of year.

And it's it's something and I've tweeted about and talked with people.

I I just don't quite understand why when the Blue Jays see somebody

Who they know probably could help them that season or later that season, but they might be blocked.

Why not?

Why not look at trying a different position earlier?

So this is a really tough ask for Keys and and he knows he's being watched uh w with every ball that's hit to him.

So the bat has certainly earned a place.

I think when the rosters expand tomorrow.

Um, but I I I see his role as being somewhat limited because I I don't think it's fair uh in the middle of a of a wild card race to be putting him in left field, especially if you're uh in a key series.

I've always liked Aaron Parker since he entered the organization.

I call him uh a a more athletic Alejandro Kirk.

Uh no slight to to Kirky there, but uh su

similar size, um, but obviously uh different physique and he has just steadily worked his way up and he's closing in on Travis Darnode's uh record for home runs by a New Hampshire Fisher cat catcher.
