Um he's done everything that they um that the Blue Jays could have asked of him and I and I think as a catcher he is definitely in their uh in their long range plans but
I actually got the heads up about ten minutes before the game started that he's going to be starting in left field.
So I could uh quickly get to my computer uh and and turn New Hampshire's game on.
And yeah, he had three balls hit to him.
Uh not challenging, but he handled them well in uh in the first inning and then threw a guy out at second.
in the in the second inning.
So uh who knows how long this is going to last.
But the kudos to the Blue Jays to to trying that one.
Obviously Parker's not a guy who's in the picture for this year.
Uh but maybe next year they they look at more of a hybrid role for him.
They just the Blue Jays love their multi-position players and and maybe Parker's going to turn into one.

You know, when you draft a player out of high school, you have four or five years, depending on his draft age, to develop him, and the Blue Jays are going to take advantage of as much of that time as they can.
And this is something I go through every year about this time online and kind of list the criteria for...
for a player to be promoted and it's much more beyond what their statistics uh say but at the same time jojo in the florida state league um third and runs uh third and doubles seconds and walks he's stolen 21 bases he has a non-base percentage of almost 400 um only a 23 percent chase rate
