Since he's come back, he's got a 0.69 ERA.
He's struck out 19 and 12 innings.
He's not a high 90s guy.
He's more of a mid-90s guy with a changeup and a slider.
But everything that he throws, he commands so well.
There's a little bit of deception in his delivery.
If the Blue Jays, if their record was reversed, maybe this is a guy we would be seeing in September.
You know, the Trey Savage, different look kind of arm.
I still think that there's a very good chance we see him with the Blue Jays at some point this season, but I would suspect he's another guy after the Futures game, which is more and more becoming the traditional moving time.
There's a guy that's probably on his way to the Niagara frontier.
He has a rocket of an arm from the outfield, which you might expect.
Being a two-way player, I don't think people realize that's a really difficult thing because some days you're working on hitting and outfielding drills, but then other days you're working just on pitching.
So to be able to go back and forth like that, that is a challenge.
And I know from talking to other players in the past, they've found that.
There's a good live arm there, but I suspect the Blue Jays will have him focus on pitching next year because he's having a struggle with low-A pitching.
But it's just interesting to see the Blue Jays willing to take a chance on this kind of guy.
But that's a good left-handed arm there.
I would love to see what he does next year, probably at Vancouver, simply more in a relief role.
Probably not looking at this guy as a promotion, but somebody I think we should talk about is Jake Bloss in his most recent start.
