Didn't miss a ton of bats, but he really righted the ship after two really rough outings, and the second of which the Blue Jays kind of let him wear it a little bit so he could get to his pitch limit.
But his progress has been good when you consider that his rehab started early
almost a year exactly after his surgery um so he's made really good progress that way fighting with his command a little bit as younger pitchers tend to do he's he's kind of more towards the the 25 age mark where the the command seems to be a little bit better um
But his sinker was really working in his last start.
He got six ground ball outs, no fly ball outs, was pounding the bottom of the zone with it.
He seems to have morphed into more of a slider sinker pitcher.
Only at 60 pitches now.
In the second half, if the Blue Jays somehow were to make a run and they need some starting pitching, once he's ramped up, there's a guy that I could see in the rotation getting a chance at a start here and there.
But...
After a little bit of rough stretch there at the end of June, trending in the right direction as well.
We are in negotiations right now with my wife, pending dog-sitting availability on a trip to Vancouver.

Yeah, can't pass that up.
Nat Bailey, as we've talked about many times before, Blue Jays fans really owe it to themselves to take a trip to Vancouver once in their lifetime to take in a game there.
So I'm really hopeful for an August trip there.
So as I say, negotiations are ongoing.
Well, it turns out that best team in baseball and best bullpen in baseball mean you're going to have to play some pretty good baseball to come up with a win.
The Toronto Blue Jays did not do that yesterday.
They fall four to three to the Atlanta Braves in the first of three.
The Braves are able to get to Kevin Gosman a little bit early.
