How was trying to keep up with this?

Because you're as locked in on the Blue Jays system as anyone who doesn't work for the team.

And I know you're constantly having conversations and watching games and things like that.

How was trying to keep up while you were on this trip for a couple of weeks?

That's good.

It's weird that it was blocked, but I guess I don't understand the internet restrictions other places.

I haven't tried.

I guess I did.

I was in Cuba during the World Series once, but the radio apps still worked, so I could just listen to games on the radio instead of watching.

So, Doug, you are back, and you came back to a Toronto Blue Jays Major League roster that has a bunch of guys who we talked about over the last couple of years.

Yohindra Pinango and Charles McAdoo, chief among those who have been called up and maybe in spot

a little earlier than we expected or, in Pignango's case, maybe performed a little better than we expected.

When you look back at Pignango's path, I think there were some who were a little surprised he was left unprotected in the Rule 5, a few who were surprised that he wasn't selected by someone in the Rule 5.

What is your understanding of how he was able to clear the Rule 5 and what's changed for him between then and now where he looks like a fairly capable major leaguer?

And yeah, a lot of those names you just mentioned were 2024 trade deadline acquisitions.

So while that year really sucked to do a two-hour show every day, at least we talked about the right guys in July, August, and September.
