So loving your enemies, uh, you know, the my father was a military man and uh knew fighter pilots who would before they would go into battle, they would have a prayer meeting and pray for the enemy.
Lord, if there's anybody uh uh that we are going to be engaging with who is seeking you or y if you're drawing to yourself, please protect him from us.
Right.
They're they're going into battle and they're gonna do their job, but they're not doing it with a vindictive uh rage overflowing.
It's that's not that's not what this is.
Well, what you do is you run an in whenever you're in a conflict or when you're uh dealing with a situation like this and Jesus says, Don't take try to take the speck out of somebody else's eye when you've got a log in your own
Always make sure to root routinely run an inventory.
So if you're worried about being a hypocrite, talk to God about it.
Say, God, please uh search me and try me, as the psalmist says.
See if there be any wicked way in me.
Lord, am I being a hypocrite?
Please bring that to mind.
Please confront me with it.
Um raise it as a possibility.
Uh but the good news is people who pray regularly about
not being a hypocrite or who are concerned about being hypocrites
They're not hypocrites, because hypocrites don't worry about things like that.
Yeah.
No, that's that's obviously absurd and uh and all society would descend into moral chaos if we if we tried to practice it.
Oh man.
