So if it's like over 70%, that's kind of like, okay, yeah, that's a really strong narrative that you were told about yourself.
And okay.
And then I might be asking somebody, what are the exceptions to this?
And and any time that maybe you did something.
Um or got evidence that suggests that's not true all the time.
So really trying to help that person not see things in absolutes about these negative things that's in their head.
Um, because yeah.
With anxiety, uh, those type of negative cognitions up our anxiety.
So what we'll try to do with parents that tend to run anxious for different reasons is to help them go to more neutral thinking.
and more temporal thinking.
Things that are less it's always gonna be like this, but this is temporary.
This is a common um neutral thought that my clients and I will work on because most things are temporary.
So that being said, when we're in that
you know, fight or flight mode or in that highly anxious, you know, doom and gloom.
It's it's understandable.
It's often warranted based off of past experience or environment.
However, it's not helpful.
It doesn't help us show up in a grounded way.
And that's where we'll kind of go to okay, what's some neutral thinking we can do?
