And to be quite honest, those men, the ones that I knew personally who were dating, they got a lot of dates simply by stating that they are a physician.
But the women...
The women are like, I'm in medicine, myself included.
Like, go ahead.
Think I'm just, you know, something else besides being this high achieving physician that I am.
So if you're dating, you want to be unapologetic about who you are, your level of success.
Like you drive a Porsche baby, drive up in that thing.
If the man is intimidated when you're dating, he's not your person.
And I'm not saying be braggy or boastful or any of that, but it's like be who you are.
Just be yourself.
And the men who are a match to that will, you know, show their interest.
They won't be intimidated.
They'll be able to handle that.
And the ones who aren't will fall away.
So that's if you're dating.
If you are in a relationship already and maybe when you got together you weren't the breadwinner.
Or maybe you always have been, but it's sort of coming to light that like perhaps your partner doesn't feel fully comfortable with the fact that you earn more money.
I think one of the reasons why our partners feel uncomfortable is if we earn all the money, but then we also sort of have the subtle belief that therefore we should dictate how the money is spent.
That's where things get really tricky.
So even if you're the breadwinner, and of course, like everybody's financial situation will be different.
