That is something that she and this isn't telling yourself.
This is the problem.
I want to be precise.
I know it sounds weird, but telling yourself is like there's a lot of mental activity and you're trying to say something from the outside.
Like you can tell yourself, hey, Andrew, I'm going to remember this mathematical formula doesn't work.
You can tell yourself all kinds of things, but like telling yourself is very surface level mental activity.
That's not how change happens.
So when we're talking about narrative reconstruction, post-trauma, and this is what's so terrible about social media, everyone's consuming this like, tell yourself every single day that this is true.
That's not how you change your beliefs.
The science of how beliefs change isn't by telling yourself things over and over and over again.
That's gaslighting yourself.
It's just trying to drown what you really believe with like, it's like taking a piece of dog poop and putting icing on top.
So I think this Sankalpa idea and this idea of like focus on being statements because being statements are like more primordial and they will result in the mental fluctuations of your mind in a different way, right?
So they'll automatically result in a certain kind of desire and a certain kind of planning and a certain kind of inclination.
They're your most natural tendency.
And like I'm lazy, right?
Like people don't realize this, but like I'm lazy.
I'm still the degenerate gamer.
