Because there's, you know, let me back up a second and talk more about the interference effect to give more context for people.
So the interference effect from those original studies, essentially they looked at this cellular pathway.
So lifting and cardiovascular training have two different cellular pathways.
And um, these cascades are like almost like someone's knocking a door, ringing a doorbell, a messenger's going to someone else, it's sending a signal, it's telling someone to do this.

And so the resistance training pathway is turned on by mechanical tension, that tension, that pulling, that stress, that strain on that pathway.
And it essentially results in muscle protein synthesis, or you have also neuromuscular adaptations to strength training.
When you start lifting heavier, your neurons are better at contracting more fibers, those fibers get more powerful, they can produce more force.
All of these things are adaptations.
