uh then you give yourself so much grace and it's actually kinda funny.
And I think being unique is now socially acceptable, which it totally was not.
I'm assuming you and I are about the same generation.
But you know, watching all those movies and then then watching like Breakfast Club or Pretty in Pink, you know, those were ones where it was okay to be unique.
Those were the that's the the narratives that I tried to live by.
Like it's okay to be a little bit different, but you still need to know how to fit in when you need to know how to fit in, because if you totally way too unique, you're never gonna be able to get a job, you know.
At least now you can, I think with gig gig workers and stuff, but back in the eighties and nineties, forget it.
You know, you had to learn to to walk the road, especially as a female in a male really dominated um healthcare society.
There are, yeah.
So that that's the part I'm just struggling with right now, just the whole community part and community and aging too, you know, like where do you go?
You know, 'cause I don't I don't want to be in a retirement home.
That sounds like the worst plus to someone who's neurodivergent, no effing way would I ever do that.
Pardon the the syllable, but yeah.

So I didn't decide for sure I wanted to be an orthodontist.
Um I actually wanted to do what everyone in college does who's good at science.
I wanted to go to med school.
I had the grades.
I had the research.
