I was like, probably the stupidest thing in hindsight.
Like it's almost funny now how dumb it is to go into a career where less than like one or two percent actually get into that, especially of the people who even get in.
But I was
Like, I'm gonna do it.
And I guess just because I whenever I put my mind to something, it always works out.
Like, I've never I've never failed at anything, and I I go for really hard stuff.
Like, if I hyper focus, I will get stuff done.
So, and I remember, I remember my auntie and my mom saying, That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Like, why would you take this risk?
And I said that's what I wanna do and then I did it.
So I got into orthodontics residency, one of the top programs in the country, and the rest is history.
Oh, okay.
So um after that I did like the normal orthodontic thing, which is the normal like you have an office and it's chaos and it's crazy and there's millions of kids in there and it's noisy.
Which was again, probably not knowing I was neurodivergent, but I was very ADHD ish at the time.
So and and so were many of I would say all orthodontic residents were like that.
We were hyper, we were friendly, I was very extroverted.
So

2000 is a very different Amanda than you see today.
Like I wasn't a sorority, I was bubbly, I was, you know, like it's always around people, singing, dancing, fun.
