will decide that they urgently need something right when you're sitting down to feed the baby and they watch you know they're watching what you're doing and so they'll be like oh I suddenly need water and you're like sitting here you know I feed on a baby right so as much as you can make everything ahead of time like let's get everything ready for Tate and also this is another trick I like to recommend is when you're feeding the baby make it Tate's story time your reading time so Tate thinks
It's her time on the couch and she can turn the pages and you can read the book while you're sitting there feeding the baby.
So she gets to share that time or even think it's her time when, in fact, it's the baby's feeding time.
But I just want to ask Dr. Brown, what do you think?
I think you're going to see pushback no matter what because even at the end,
There are moments that she's with her friend and there are moments that you're holding the other baby.
But she still knows that you guys are her people.
And, you know, you're the support staff for her.
And now it's going to be shared.
And there is a little bit of a, you know, it's like the five stages of grieving.
They kind of go through it.
And they're always nice to the baby.
Like, they're not mean to the baby.
They're mean to parents.
So, you know, they will take it out on you just a little bit.
So it may be a little less intense.
And, again, it depends on the temperament and your situation.
But I think you're going to see some pushback.
And what if Tate helps with diaper changes?
