So I

It's a very daunting thing to be a resident and have all these opportunities and try to say, oh, there's one that's perfect out there for me.

It often still comes down to geography to practice setting and things like that.

So I wish I had the magic answer, but I think the bottom line is,

have a clear idea of kind of what you want and then hold the people you're talking to accountable.

Residents are in the driver's seat without question, right?

There's no question that there's a lack of urologists.

So we're all always looking for people to hire.

what I'm hoping it looks like is still a world where urologists are driving GU care, right?

And, you know, I do think there are so many things happening, both with the aging population, with the advent of AI, with so many new options coming, that it's not going to look like it looks today.

And I think anyone who thinks they know exactly what it's going to look like in five years is a bit

you know, is probably wrong.

Maybe they'll be lucky and be right.

I'm hoping that it means that we still have the ability not just to be the last recipient of a complex GU problem, but to really be the ones engaging to make sure our patients are having as little problems as possible.

That is a different perspective on things, right?

Is are we being seen as central to the problem

You know, and therefore can really make a difference on it.

Or are we just the receptacle of the most complicated patients that in the end need, quote unquote, need the specialist?

I think we've all we've often seen that if we're involved earlier, we can we can really help patients a lot more.

The future of such partnerships is that I don't know how much longer that's going to be around, right?
