So there's but I think the the point is just for the those two categories of the bar and the online dating is that
they're not kind of embedded in any kind of social network or community uh of you know friends, which I think is always helpful.
Or they're also not kind of getting opportunities to kind of get a more granular sense of the other person before you kind of, you know
move down the road towards uh dating more seriously.
So anyways, the point is again, trying to f help encourage people to do as much as they can to kind of
Date from in person social yeah.
Context.
That's a great question.
So one thing I actually talk about in more detail in my book is
This I notion, this idea of the paradox of happiness.
And the idea is that if you directly seek happiness in life,
Or directly seek happiness in marriage, you're more likely to fail.
Whereas if you kind of try to do, you know, important, valuable, good things, develop sort of meaningful talents and skills, and also kind of have
deep social relationships, you know, in your life with friends and family, you're more likely to be happy.
And the same idea kind of applies to marriage.
So people who are directly seeking to be happy in their marriages all the time often end up miserable.
And I talk about one person in my book, a woman named Liz Gilbert, who's written this book, E Pre Love, which was popular a while back.
But
She was kind of seeking romantic happiness, kind of constantly in her relationships.
And this her story begins with her kind of divorcing her first husband in New York.
