She feels like it would have been wiser for her to kind of focus on a few important things that were indeed non-negotiables, right?

But not to have a very long list.

And she feels like some of her friends in Los Angeles were, you know, very deliberate about prioritizing certain kinds of things.

She's Jewish, and maybe some of her friends were prioritizing, you know, Jewish faith in a husband and

You know, m whatever else.

I mean you you might imagine.

But they had they had a list, but it was a it was a relatively constrained list.

And so, you know, her friends were more successful in marrying than she was.

And so all I'm saying to to the women out there is just to sort of not to have no standards, but just to be careful about what standards you're kind of putting forward.

And I would definitely obviously prioritize, you know, things that relate to like virtues and character more broadly understood and uh a shared faith.

And so my wife and I, for instance, we went to what's called

Pre-Cana Catholic Church, where you kind of do all these tests and you have this counseling before you get married.

And when we took the test, the priest kind of came back and Riley smiled at us and basically said we failed every

different subject area in this in this test for pre-Kana, except for having the sh the same f you know kind of faith orientation.

So and you know, we're still together after after 30 years, but we had at least, you know, kind of like a common faith to sort of bind us together at at that early stage in l in life.

So again, I'm just saying that

You know, have have standards but make sure that the standards are ones that are really kind of crucial for

What you would hope for in marriage and family.

So I think one, you know, one dynamic we could be open to in that in that particular situation is to be kind of dating someone who's a bit older, you know.

Um, because I think men generally do take longer to grow up.
