We're all sinners.
And so it doesn't really matter who you marry
Like the odds of you experiencing some major frustrations, conflicts, disappointments, and anger in your marriage are pretty high, you know, no matter who you marry.
And so I think part of the challenge too is to recognize that because you're a sinner and your spouse is a sinner, you are going to experience, you know, the the cross right there in the middle of your marriage.
And part of being a Christian is helping someone else carry the cross.
in their lives and then you kind of working with them.
And so I, for instance, I have a student
Working class kid from Nevada, and he said that his father um's a police officer.
Stuck with his mom.
Even though his mom w was throughout much of his family life, you know, struggling with drug addiction.
And so he kind of had a very kind of different take on this whole issue in question.
Like he was just really, I think, in awe of the way in which his dad had kind of
You know, managed to sort of
maintain fidelity with his mom even in the midst of a real major drug addiction problem on her part.
So
Again, it's a it's a tough question, but I think we also have to recognize too that

In the family there are certainly seasons and times when, you know, a spouse or a child or a parent can be struggling with something like alcohol or or drugs or something whatever else it might be.
And
That doesn't mean they're not part of your family.
