This is a guy who has basically hoisted his image on bringing in a new pool of voters, specifically MAGA sick events and people who would stand by him no matter what.
And up until this point, they have not moved.
So he's been proven proof positive that not only is he Teflon, but he is the person who is able to align MAGA.
But as we're seeing day in and day out, that stronghold is fading.
And in large part, it's not fading because of his illegality.
We've known that since the dawn of time.
It is fading because of his age.
It is fading because they know that whether he wants to or not, he's going to have to pass the baton.
Now, who that baton passes to, you know, that's up for debate.
But the fact that affordability still remains a top issue for Americans across the board, regardless of where they live and regardless of what partisan strike they have.
And this is a president who, in addition to running on all things racism, ran a very strong campaign saying he would bring prices down.
People aren't seeing that happen.

Without Congress, and Congress has basically been derelict in its duty anyway, without Congress, he is deciding that he is going to make these moves.
That threatens to put young men and women at war who were, quite frankly, very much excited that we ended the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
They do not want to go back to war.
And utilizing an essential extension of the war on drugs to act as though now he has the credibility to do so, I think that even his base has wised up to.
They don't want to go to war.
They don't want to see American money spent on wars, specifically on wars where there has not been an American target.
