So we need to change X, Y, and Z. We go, well, that picture is wrong.

I mean, even down to an FDI,

I mean, like, I mean, it'd be worth, you know, kind of teasing this out, you know, because of CSO, if there's anyone on the PAC, he will do this.

But like, as far as I can see from the stats, and again, I say this

this is a qualified kind of statement.

But when I see CSOs kind of figures in terms of like FDI jobs, they seem to be including retail in them.

So it seems to me that like there was a spike in, there was a growth in German FDI jobs

in Ireland in the last kind of 10 years.

And it seems to be Aldi and Lidl.

So seeing some of the figures that like CSO is now including Aldi, Lidl, Boots, Tesco as FDI, I don't think that's people's perception as to what kind of FDI jobs are.

You know?

So, like, when we do have stats that are coming from the States, because IDA will not say how many jobs there are.

They'll say that they hand out this kind of random sample survey.

Revenue won't tell us how many people who are in these companies are paying pure SI here, because sometimes these companies have the headline figures of 5,000 people.

But that seems to be 5,000 people who are employed by the company worldwide.

We don't know how many of them are physically in Ireland itself.

So even with an FDI, there are huge problems with trying to get that sense as to what actually this picture is of.

And when we go to the States, because in the States, the American companies have to file

how many employees they have.

And in terms of US companies, it seems to be around 80,000 jobs, which is not to be sniffed at.
