probably one of the better things we can do for our brain as we get older.
And the paper is fascinating because it flips the narrative and it does so in this, I would say, I don't want to say creative, but like in a, in a way that you hadn't really thought about previously.
So I'll leave that as like a cliffhanger, but you can go check it out because the newsletter is free.
But anyway, yeah, so we have, there's total biological precedence of taking in five or 10 grams a day and maybe even higher.
So who should take this and how much?
Well, you have the question about your 16-year-old son.
I've got a three-year-old son, a seven-year-old son, and a 12-year-old son.
And the seven and 12-year-old take some creatine every day, just a couple of grams.
And if you think about it,
their bodies are working so hard.
They're playing sports, they're growing, right?
The almost 13 year old is about to start going through puberty.
What an energetically demanding time.
And he does jujitsu and wrestles.
He's got this incredible energy demand.
And so supporting energy, I think can help his body with the energetic needs that it has.
So I'm totally a fan of that.
And then for older people, the need for creatine might increase even as we get older.
And I don't know if that's even the right way to put it, but I think maybe the importance of creatine supplementation goes up.
I think our body's going to use it our whole lives because we're making it, we're eating it.
