And that would mean when it comes to the battlefield, you would just outsmart everyone.
You would be the great hero.
As for Aphrodite, who comes last, she says, well, I could just give you the most beautiful woman in the world.
And didn't take much deliberation.
Paris says, I'll choose that one, thanks.
Typical man.
And then the necessary has to happen, which means Helen, as I say, the most beautiful woman in the world, had to be taken from her husband and given to Paris as a prize.
And the tale is a bit ambiguous in different tellings, but Menelaus was away and Paris came over there, helped by Aphrodite and seduced and abducted Helen.
Why does that matter?
Because her face is the face that launched a thousand ships.
the whole of the Trojan War, the whole subject of the Iliad is about the Greeks, not just trying to save their honor, but trying to restore to her rightful place in Sparta, the woman who was wrongly taken by a Trojan.
And so that whole sequence comes about from this troubled goddess, Eris, not being able to be at the party and the FOMO going loco.
So to cast Helen is tricky.
You need someone who credibly could be taken as one of the most beautiful women of all time.
