So if you're looking for things of satiety and thermogenesis and glycemic regulation, you really need to be in that range or you're not going to get it.
We find that if women drift below it into the 90 or lower, they'll lose all of the benefits of a higher protein diet.
But it comes back to the animal protein again that, you know, four ounces of chicken breast will give you 32 grams of protein.

There's been a lot of research in the last 20 years that as we get older, our efficiency of protein use goes down, and we think that the meal distribution probably becomes more important.
A 20-gram protein meal for a 14-year-old is very different than a 20-gram meal for a 45-year-old.
And so the levels that she was using actually are reasonably high for that age group, where we might not consider a 20-gram meal good for...
any of us to max out the systems we're interested in.
So I wouldn't want the listeners to come away thinking, wow, all those kids aren't getting enough because that's a reasonable amount for school-aged kids.
People have criticized the report because we did use what were weight loss.
They were energy-restricted diets.
But the point I was going to get to is we know that 75% of Americans are overweight.
