So I think that what...
Heather was saying is what we did was create a framework.
And if you want to lean that framework toward vegetarian or you want to lean it toward Mediterranean, it's easy to do that.
You can pick and choose how you make your foods.
If you pick and choose your
foods but hit within that 1.2 to 1.6, chances are you're also going to meet your nutrient needs, which is kind of what we were going for, that if people understand that that's kind of a goal range, then you're probably going to be good for body composition and also your nutrient content.
If you're out of that range, for whatever reason you choose, you need to know that those are both at risk.
Does that mean you need to be supplementing?
So again, I think
guidelines for the public, for the consumer, should give them some targets to understand where they should be looking.
It's not prescriptive that everybody has to do it this way, which is kind of where the last guideline sort of leaned.
It's kind of like, you know, we know best and you should all eat this way.
And I think the current guidelines are fair and logical and they're flexible.
It's the picture of steak.
Yeah, that's the one.
So did we.
Yeah, I think I would go that direction.
Again, I mean it's based on nitrogen balance and I have spent 40 years staying away from the term nitrogen balance.
I think that it is what it is.
Nitrogen balance was evolved really out of animal science as a way of measuring growth.
