O C D has a number of really taboo themes.

It's a real pain in the bottom in that

You know, it likes to target people where um it hurts the most and the things that are most treasured.

And one of those things, so I'm setting the stage for them to go, yes, I have these thoughts.

You know, one of the things is that, you know, whether it's your kids or your your dog, whatever, you know, just is it's just so nasty and it just goes there, you know.

So I'm gonna ask you these questions um and then I'll go blah, blah, blah, blah.

So I open the door, make it okay.

um to do it.

Sometimes it'll just be super sensitive and I won't actually ask but I'll send them a Y Box checklist home and they can bring it back.

Other times let's say they do indicate yes, I'm having these themes or I'm having these sexual thoughts about

you know, my child, um, then it is a stock standard, you know, indication of okay, look, I know this sounds like a really um

unusual question, but you know, how do you feel about those you know, how do you feel about those thoughts that come in, you know, I can see that you're really distressed, but tell me about, you know, those oh I hate them, you know, I'd kill myself before you know, I'm worried that because I've got them, you know, and so you're kind of going, is this ego syntonic?

Now, a lot of the time it's stock standard.

Where it can get tricky.

is if they go well

You know, I get these thoughts.

And I I don't know how I feel about them anymore.

Now a lot of the time that can be because they've almost habituated to the content.

They hate it, but it's like, you know, they're just trying to either thought block or something.

Um, but again it's like, you know, does it seem like someone is is putting these thoughts into your head, just checking for psychatosis?
