There's only so much room you have in your freezer.
So it probably won't have a huge impact.
No, so the CCPC, the Consumer Protection Commission, did a good report into this last year.
And what they found really is that if you look at some of the main players, so Duns and Lidl don't publish their profits, but Tesco, Musgrave, who own Super Value and Centra and some other smaller retailers, and Aldi,
their profit margins are pretty in line with the profit margins they have in the UK and Europe, and all of them are below 4% profit margins.
So they're not particularly big profit margins.
And also, actually, we've really seen, so while the cost of groceries has increased substantially here and is a real issue for households, the rate of grocery price inflation in Ireland has actually been well below the rate of grocery price inflation
inflation in the EU as a whole.

So our supermarket sector is actually quite competitive.
And, you know, you can see that with the, you know, the advertisement campaigns, the competing for prices and for customers and
You know, the price match promises and so on.

But what it is, I think, is it's too early to be talking about that because we have absolutely no idea what is going to happen between now and the budget.
And, you know, the government in their economic statement rightly modelled and forecast different scenarios.
And, you know, in the most adverse scenario,
we could be looking at inflation spiking at 6.5% towards the end of the year.
