Very quickly, we saw that it's quite difficult to collect and ensure that women are all on the third day of their menstrual cycle.

We're busy, we're working, we're traveling, weekends.

And so when you only have 12 opportunities every single year, that is, we have 12 periods every single year, and that's assuming you're regular, then actually the number of opportunities that you can get to collect that blood at that specific time point

diminishes very quickly.

And especially when you take into account individual pathologies that you want to study, like PCOS, where actually one of the hallmarks of PCOS is irregularity in a cycle.

So it's very difficult to predict.

Then you start to get a picture of

Why, firstly, collecting data at a specific time in your menstrual cycle in order to understand that you're here as opposed to it fluctuating any other time is important, but also why it's difficult.

And I think that's why we feel so proud to have developed something that enables us to reach women where they are, whether they're at home, whether they're traveling, to enable it to be just done whenever they can, as opposed to physically needing to make an appointment, to travel, to go to the appointment.

to arrange childcare, to arrange time off work.

And so that unlocking of health access is really important.

And the double benefit is that it has unlocked health data.

And this is where I say it is.

Yes, it's technically a little bit more difficult to recruit women at scale.

But we have mapped our galaxies more than we have mapped our gynae.

We honestly, we know more about outer space than our inner spaces.

We can put satellites to help us navigate maps, but we can't seem to look internally on a cellular level, on a systemic level, on a chromosomal, genetic, every other level.

We can't seem to...

dedicate, resource, funding and interest to actually rally for the health of over 50% of the planet.

And that to me is just unforgivable.
