War becomes an end i in and of itself.

Right.

And that's what Putin's Russia does with this war, and this is why we think

Mariupol is such a good example of fascism in action.

Because the state doesn't just say

We wanted to flatten Mariupol.

When you look at the news coverage in Russian state media, and bear in mind almost all media in Russia is state media or

toes the party line in some way.

You will find these tours of Maliupol, but don't try to hide the destruction.

I think.

Right.

They say, here is a photograph of Mariopal destroyed in the war.

We don't call it a war, we call it a special military operation, but everybody knows what it means.

And here is a photograph of what either it looks like now or what it's going to look like.

And you find this imprinted all over the city in various ways with these weird sort of Instagram type realtor videos, right?

Just the same sort of aesthetics that you see when someone goes to a glamorous house and is being marketed to somebody in the States or somebody in Britain.

Sixty seconds come, you can have this lifestyle.

Oh we see the same types of videos being produced about new apartment blocks in Mariupol.

You can come and live in this wonderland, in this fantasy land, but this land has been cleansed of Ukrainianness, of Europeanness, of all those
