That's part of the definition of life.

And what we're talking about is the characteristics of life.

What is life is probably something that is better answered by the Bible, but the characteristics of life can certainly be measured and we can quantitate that.

And I will say, to Lee's point, I have never said, and if he can show me, I'd love to have it.

I've never said we will never know where life has come from.

I have on record many times said, I presume that one day we will know, but that day is far, far from today.

And the reason I say that is because when you look at the cell,

It is even the simplest of cells.

It is far more complex in its design.

And then every year it gets more and more complex as we realize what is going on.

And we may be moving a nanometer closer while this thing is moving

kilometers away much faster.

So that's how we track whether we're getting close to something.

But I've never said we won't get it.

I've never criticized science saying that science will never get there.

I just say that it's very far away.

And these suggestions, like we're close.

Now, to Lee's credit, he has come up with this assembly theory, which does help to measure

where he can say, is this a characteristic?

Could this have come from life?
