As a synthetic organic chemist, I can look at a molecule and tell you whether a structure like that would come from a biological-like system.
But to have, as Lee has said, and as he is taught through assembly theory, look, you can have one of anything, but if you have 17 of them, that then means that there must have been something that selected it and moved toward it.
And he comes in with this selector entity.
That selector entity, usually a selector has to be far more complex than the thing that it's selecting.
And it certainly seems like something much higher.
But he hasn't talked about how this is going to generate life.
This is something that detects life.
And to his credit, that's what he's got.
But we are really clueless on the origin of life.
And all of those molecules that they put in the spud cell, they got them from a natural source.
system, all the nucleotides that they put together, every bit of it came from the natural system.
So you take a cell, you took cells, you took them apart, you took their pieces and you put them together, even to make your genome.
You took the pieces and you put them together, or they took whole pieces.
They took ATP, which are whole,
big construct and put that in there.
When you have to talk about the origin of life, we're absolutely clueless.
This is why Lee will not speak about the molecules.
Can you even put two carbohydrates, two things together with control?
Can you put any two amino acids with control that bear active side chains, like an amine or a carboxylic acid?
He knows what I'm talking about, but he refuses to address the scientific problems.
