Appearances
Remember those questions around caregiving.
The second one, this becomes more personal for a couple or individual.
Plan for Tuesday.
That Tuesday at 1030, that's really real.
You need to add structure to a life that was always structured until the day you retire.
And the third one, stop postponing your future you.
There are things you can do today.
Preparation is not about control.
It's not just about independence.
It's not about financial security alone.
Preparation is an act of love, a love of self, a love of your significant other, and a love of all those that you think you're going to be depending on over time.
Dr. Coughlin, what are your parting words?
Parting words is I don't want anyone to believe that older age is something that we should fear.
This is a gift of time.
You know, since people crawled out of the ooze, if you will,
we've wanted to live longer, whether it's endless life, eternal life, trying to find all kinds of things going on to make sure that we live longer.
In fact, think of the billions now going into longevity tech, that we're going to live to 100, 150.
That's great.
But I want you to look at older age as a gift of a dividend of upwards of three to four decades longer than
than our grandparents' great-grandparents may have enjoyed.
