And I said, I haven't chosen a major, Mrs. Williams. matched

And she said, well, I think you should think about being a journalism major or English major because she said, you know, out of the 40 kids, you got the highest grade in the class. matched

You did a great job. matched

And can I tell you, like, here's what I call it, Gary. matched

It was a memory transplant. matched

I went from believing I wasn't smart, I couldn't do it, low self-esteem throughout high school when it came to matched

academics to all of a sudden saying, you know what, one person told me I could do it, I can do it. matched

And then from there, I started taking all the hard classes in the chemistry and biology and biochem and started excelling and average above a 3.0. matched

You know, much later on, I went to graduate at Johns Hopkins with a 3.9 GPA. matched

And so all that being said, but my point was this, there's a lot of people who have had somebody lie to them or tell them something, or they had some sort of childhood trauma. matched

And it's literally 30, 40, 50 years later, still sabotaging their mind and their health. matched

I mean, the sleep and the stress in any type of trauma, like those questions are in our intake form. matched

I think if somebody gets stuck, then we kind of sometimes go layers deeper into this. matched

But I would say this, most of the studies show the single most beneficial, and this is kind of crazy, the single most beneficial thing for overcoming childhood trauma matched
