And that causes your brain not to function properly.
That causes your liver not to function well.
That causes your intestinal tract to be a mess.
causes your blood sugar levels to be chaotic.
And so really, if you can calm down inflammation in a person's body, it minimizes so many different problems from a physiological standpoint, for sure.
It'd be like there's a massive fire going on in your house and the fire alarm is going off.
And all we want to do is just simply turn out the fire alarm as we let the fire just continue to blaze.

And let's actually put out the fire instead of just turn out the fire alarm.
you know getting cancer or going to prison or so many different things that trauma does in the body so can you explain that yeah and you're 100 right and this is something to be mindful of as you have childhood trauma for example it really causes you to be in this fight-or-flight response and just to give you an idea i'll tell you all the different things that this causes if you're in a fight-or-flight response and your cortisol is constantly being produced and the adrenal glands aren't functioning well
It essentially will trigger the immune response to turn into an autoimmune disease.
It causes much higher inflammation.
It causes insulin resistance.
It steals away your sex hormones and converts them into cortisol.
So now you have all this hormonal dysfunction.
It actually degenerates the intestinal lining.
So our intestinal lining should break down tissue and then restore and break down tissue and restore.
If you're in this constant fight or flight response,
your intestinal tract just breaks down over and over and over again to where you start to absorb certain proteins in the bloodstream that you shouldn't.
And then that causes your immune response to freak out and that causes way more inflammation.
