So you've heard of like intestinal permeability or leaky gut, for example.
Childhood trauma and this constant fight or flight response causes that intestinal permeability issue at a rapid pace.
Also, it causes brain inflammation.
So when you're in this fight or flight response, your brain, tell me if this is way too much inflammation.
But check this out, your brain can't fire to what's called the enteric nervous system.
So if I was to dissect your brain, I'd pull your brain and all the neurological tissue with it out, you would see this huge web engulfing the whole intestinal tract.
It's called the enteric nervous system.
It's pretty much one organ, right?
You've heard of like the second brain or whatever that may be.
So your brain should fire to the intestinal tract.
If it can't, then what happens is you have constipation,
You have poor blood flow to the gut.
You have decreased digestive enzymes and decreased ACL, so you're not digesting your food properly.
So then you have constipation.
You have gas, bloating, digestion, inflammation, brain inflammation.
Your brain's not functioning well, but the mechanism is your brain's not firing to the intestinal tract properly.
Just from that.
So to sum it all up, we have...
brain inflammation, we have poor brain fire into the entire nervous system, we have poor digestion, we have cortisol defects, we have hormonal imbalances, we have blood sugar imbalances, we have methylation issues of the liver and poor detoxification.
So childhood trauma and this constant fight or flight response, look at all the different mechanisms that actually are triggered from just that one thing.
