Um, and I think it's, you know, again, it gets that it goes back to that core belief of like something's gonna go wrong.
What's what's, you know, where's where's the mistake gonna happen?
Where's this gonna happen?
Um and so like you mentioned helping that client see like
You're doing very well.
The evidence is pointing to things going great, you know, and this, you know, you might have learned previously that because of the ADHD, you know, something something might happen, you might forget something or something might fall through the cracks.
But you've worked on the ADHD, you've addressed these issues, and things are going really, really well.
And so we now it's time to unlearn, you know, that your brain's looking out for you.
Your brain's saying, Hey, like we need to make sure that nothing
That's what brains do.
Um, but essentially that's no longer a helpful signal in that context and it's not worth spending ti that time and energy on because you know, at that point you've mastered those issues and you're performing very, very well.

The brain is a prediction making machine, right?

We anticipate and we learn patterns and and so, you know, I think that if ADHD had caused problems before, we you know, the brain is saying, Well, when's it gonna happen again?
And it's hyper vigilant to anticipate that.
Um, but you know, we it you know, with ADHD you can figure it out and you can a lot of times figure out ways to m to you know be successful and then that that work is uh that anticipatory response is no longer uh helpful.
