You know

maybe they weren't diagnosed with ADHD as a kid, uh, because

you know, their parents didn't really think that ADHD was a thing.

Um, and culturally for them, uh, having ADHD is difficult.

Um, and though they might come back to things like well, maybe I'm just lazy or maybe I'm this or that.

And so that is more of a discussion of saying like, well, okay, what does it mean if you have ADHD for you?

And what kind of beliefs do you have about ADHD?

And what kind of beliefs do you have about people who have ADHD?

And kind of exploring some of that stigma and those underlying beliefs so we can kind of get to the heart of like, how do we best help you now?

You know, the data is suggesting this.

Um, I based on what I know and and the resources that I can offer you, I I have a very strong belief that this is gonna be helpful for you.

What is it what is it gonna mean to you to accept that help and what's that gonna be like for you and and kind of processing that within.

You know, I often like to tell my my patients with ADHD that, you know, you can become experts in executive functioning and time management and all these things because you have to fo you had to focus on

Um, it's something that you had to spend time on.

It's something that you had to think about.

And then using that, you know, reflection and those skills that you've learned and then using them as you go on in your careers, that can be something that can, you know, lead you to be, you know, an expert in that area and really perform well in that area because you did.

You had to think about it.

It was something you had to work at.

And um, I think that that is something that
