But we are living in a world where everybody's attention is more and more compromised uh because we're being pulled towards our devices.
Absolutely.
That's a great question.
Um, so I think I sp I put them into two different categories, I would say, two two different groups.
Ninety five percent, I think, of my patients.
Already suspected it and are relieved.
Um it's a way to finally um
contextualize and put into perspective the challenges that they've been experiencing and that they know that they've been experiencing.
So it it's kind of the missing piece for them to finally, okay, this makes a lot of sense.
I've been struggling with this.
You know, a lot of times I have uh people coming to me because their kids were diagnosed with ADHD and they're going through that assessment process and they're saying, That sounded a lot like me, so I figured I'd get assessed.
And then we go through it and it it really
Uh, you know, I find those feedback sessions, uh, they they, you know, I really try to make them therapeutic in the sense that we're processing all that time of being undiagnosed, the challenges that they've experienced, you know, even the beliefs about themselves that that, you know, the the lack of diagnosis and the struggles that they experienced, you know, um created for them.
Um and those difficulties uh
you know, throughout their life.
Um, so a lot of times I find that people feel relieved.
We get they're excited to look towards treatment, you know, options to kind of make things better.
Um, a lot of them too have kind of figured out how to live with ADHD at this point, you know, in their 40s, um, and they, you know, but we're able to give them that extra support and that extra, you know, structure in terms of maybe behavioral treatment, executive function.
skills as well as uh medication treatments to just make life a little easier for them at that point.
And then uh there's my uh the other five percent that I think
