No.
You talk a lot about in in your book about the the set point of your body fat and weight.
And I've you know seen that phrase talked about a lot.
I guess, you know, almost like a thermostat.
If you set the thermostat and temperature of the room at twenty degrees
If it drops below twenty for whatever reason, the heat will kick back in.
If it goes too high, it will go back down.
There's like some auto-regulation which happens.
So I guess similar to the Hadza tribe and these, you know, city dwellers, the Hadza tribe are exercising a lot more, so there's a lot more calories potentially burnt.
So the body tries to pull that back and claw it back to preserve as much energy by dropping the blood pressure, dropping the heart rate, making them colder.
those sort of things.
And I guess there's that same philosophy is also applying to weight loss as well.
If someone is, for example, if I'm trying to chronically restrict my calories in an attempt to lose weight, my body's going to assume I'm in some sort of famine hunger state and try to cling on to energy reserves and make further weight loss increasingly harder.
So that's why it becomes harder to lose weight and also why you might
weight bounce back and yo-yo to weight gain because your body's in that sort of you know worried energy deficit state.
Only 5% of us are feeding our guts properly.
That means 95% of us are accidentally starving our microbiomes, and we feel it through bloating, sluggish digestion, and other symptoms and health challenges.
That's why I created Loam, a 6-in-1 prebiotic fiber blend designed to cultivate a nourished, thriving gut.
Each serving delivers 10 grams of plant-based fibers, making it that much easier to feed the gut bacteria that fuel your digestion.
Immune system, metabolism, mood, and more.
