As I've always said, unity is our greatest strength and relationships matter so much.

But we are incredibly diverse as a profession.

Partners, salaried GPs, locums, registrars, newly qualified GPs, we all experience the pressures of the system slightly differently.

personally think that that unites us is far greater than that which divides us.

I think everybody wants enough time with patients.

Everybody wants to feel they have a safe and sustainable workload.

Everybody wants

career that is fulfilling and they want a thriving profession.

And I think the job of GPC England is to to identify those shared interests and to build policy around them.

And I think if we become divided, it's much harder to persuade government to listen to us.

It's much easier to play us off.

And what we really want to do and we need to do is be

Acutely single-minded around driving investment into general practice.
