Never in human history has bread been a health optimization food.
So when people say something like whole grains are so nutrient dense, they obviously have never looked up the nutrition in bread.
There's a long list of foods that are much more nutrient dense and not only nutrient dense, but the nutrients are actually available to be absorbed by your body.
Yeah.
So 99.99% of my training in medical school and residency was pharma training.
We did at the University of Tennessee have one nutrition class.
unlike many medical schools.
And this was back in, what, 1998.
Jeez, that was a long time ago.
And so for one hour a week, two days a week, for half a semester, we had a nutrition class.
But 99% of that class was teaching us how to treat somebody who had been in a house fire.
And they were in the burn unit and they couldn't eat.
And so we intravenously fed them or somebody who had been in a vehicle accident and smashed their face and couldn't eat.
So we had to feed them intravenously.
But to your point, as far as just the feeding of a human out in the wild, maybe one hour out of the entirety of medical school.
I say this and people think I'm being flippant, but doctors are just dudes and chicks.
And what I mean by that is, is they're not demigods.
They may have a little bit higher IQ than the average person.
They may be a better student than the average person, but there's nothing special about a doctor.
Many of my classmates did not have a higher IQ.
