Your pancreas does not like you to have high blood sugar.
It's bad for you.
So it's going to secrete a lot of insulin to pull your blood sugar down.
That gets your blood sugar back to normal, but it also makes you hungry again in two hours because you ate a high-carb meal.
Now you're snacking.
Even if it's on celery, you're snacking, and then you're eating again.
And that cycle every day...
You're keeping blood sugar spikes going.
You're keeping insulin spikes going.
Insulin is a growth factor among the hundreds of other things it does.
It tells those cysts to grow.
And they can get big enough to become painful.
They can rupture all the things.
But the main problem with PMOS, used to be called PCOS, is that you have hyperglycemia, high blood sugar.
that comes and goes or stays.
You have high insulin levels, which come or go or stay.
And you have high levels of inappropriate chronic inflammation.
That's the three things that cause what we used to call PCOS.
That's what causes it.
