So a bit of California in Stallorgan.

Do people buy it?

I don't know, with the Irish weather now uh you know, an open an open kind of mall is is a bit of a risk.

But I do have a friend who's slightly older than I am and she was talking about, you know, how they were brought out to see Stallorgan shopping cent not to shop there, but just to marvel at it, which was I think They got the tour.

They got the tour.

Tourism.

And it mirrors m the rise of car ownership and suburban development.

So and and it's about, you know, taking people away from going into the centre of the city and keeping them keeping them in the suburbs.

Yeah, I mean eighteen uh nineteen eighty one, the same year that the ILEC Centre opened, um and the Paris Courtstown Centre, it was Parcour Powers Court House, so the third Viscount of Powers Court, that was his party house when um the um uh sorry, Parliament was in s in situ.

So Parliament w the the Dublin Parliament was where the uh Bank of Ireland is today at College Green.

So um I mean it it's

It's actually a beautiful building.

I mean, you walk into it through a flower shop, through a florist, and you're met with this most beautiful staircase and all this gorgeous ornate plaster work.

And if you wander around, what they've done is they've done something very, very clever.

They've put up signage to tell you about the building, but they've also signposted some of the rooms.

So this was Lady Powerscourt's boudoir, or this was Viscount Powerscourt.

Courts whatever room.

And they've preserved the music room in in uh with period uh furniture.

I mean I don't know if it's real period furniture or periods.

It's gorgeous, it's really well done.
