It's something that is indulgenously produced in our brain.
But you can take it externally, and it actually works really well for jet lag, because it's a signal to your brain that you're ready to fall asleep.
So for example, when these teams are falling asleep at night, their body clocks
still think that they're in California time.
So they're trying to fall asleep at five or six in the morning.
Melatonin at that time would send them a signal that you're ready to fall asleep.

So when you go from the east to the west coast, you're going to bed later.
It's always easier.
Eastward travel is always more difficult.
And, you know, that three-hour difference does make a difference, makes a significant difference.
The problem with this trip is that it's a 16-hour difference.
It's a flip of a day and a night.
It's never been studied before.
