Very rarely is someone using gambling to spite someone, to betray someone, to hurt someone else.
It's because they're stuck.
It's because, I mean, even I hear people use this and I'm okay using it in this particular context saying like, I actually have a disease.
Like this person has it.
Because if you see it like that, it's like, oh, it's a disease.
like some part of it they're not in control of some part of it they are in control of if we can see it in that way like hey they're working through something it's like a cancer to them they're actually you know impacted very severely right now then i think that it can maybe build some of that some of that empathy a bit faster of like hey i have to recognize that
ultimately like, yeah, this person is responsible for what they do.
I love them.
I thought they loved me.
I'm thinking, oh, if they love me, they should have just stopped.
