It has a way and a life of its own and its life impacts on the host's life.
in the gambler's life and it impacts on the people in their spheres lives as well.
So it has a way of just destroying everything.
And then unfortunately you may become part of the consequences of that.
But at the same time, if we equate the person with the problem and then say, well, that's it, I'm done with you on that.
That's not going to help them overcome the problem either.
Yeah.
Oh, it's definitely gambling.
So even anything that involves a form of betting where the outcomes are uncertain, you're putting money on it and you could win or lose and be up or down, however you want to frame it, anything like that, even forms of trading can be gambling.
So all of these things can be gambling.
Even if they involve
information and knowledge and skill.
And it feels like, oh, I'm actually doing something that I have more control over than just playing a slot machine.
Even in those cases, it is still gambling.
And the reason I call it gambling is I differentiate it like this.
Not only the core definition of it, but I look at it regarding the outcome, which happens over time.
Sports betting, over time, there may be some skill, some luck involved, all of that.
But sports betting over time, what will happen if you keep going?
