Leadership training is really important at one point, but you know, like when the moment you mentioned training, people are like, more training?
Like, do we need more training?
And I think it's got to do more with like um kind of role modeling and like seeing and acknowledging what types of behaviors are conducive to silence.
I think being able to acknowledge that and learn from that.
So there's some really good recent research on how leaders can reflect on their own leadership.
and like um how that can encourage more humble behaviors over time.
Yeah, actually reflecting on one's own mistakes is a really good exercise.
People don't do that enough actually in terms of thinking back like how can I do certain things better?
What can I improve on?
And like if I had another shot at this, what would I do?
For example.
So even doing those small reflections um as a leader, I think, and and then now people who hear me uh make me sound like a hypocrite because I just said like you people have no time to do this.
And I think it's more like building
it into your work and building it into like the daily tasks that you have to do rather than adding it as something that's extra.
Yeah, th there's a lot of ways to do this.
I mean your classic surveys and uh interestingly, I I've observed a lot of engagement surveys and we often don't ask if people are silent or not.
And I think we should have a sort of thing.
Are you silent on this silence?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Are you silent on this?
