And he told me, he's Turkish, he tells me about this Turkish coffee shop that he wants to run.
And all the coffees he would serve and all the different kinds of desserts that he would serve and how he likes to make Turkish delight and baklava right away got to his hopes and dreams.
So mostly people like talking about things that matter to them, even if it's
feels a little bit negative at times.
So like in our deep conversations, you know, we ask people to talk about the last time they cried in front of another person, right?
That's not necessarily happy, bubbly, right?
Happiness, wellbeing in life isn't constantly feeling, you know, positive.
It's doing meaningful stuff that connects you with other people that you think is valuable and worthwhile.
Even though people report some of those conversations being heavy, like the conversation I had with the Iranian Uber driver.
That was really meaningful.
And that's really what we're focusing on.
Good in the eudaimonic sort of sense.
This is a moment that was well spent.
That was a good moment.
And I feel good about that in a kind of a deeper sense.
I do sometimes worry about this, but I think too, those fears are often misplaced as well.
Talk about this a little bit in the book.
This is a real barrier that comes up when people are going through grief or loss.
We find that people are overly reluctant to reach out and express support to somebody who's in need, right?
